About Me.

A Pilates practice that works for you - Feel good in your body again.

How I can help you.

Hi, I am Dalia, the integrated movement coach. I am a certified Body Control Pilates teacher and founder of Wellness Pilates.

I understand what it’s like to experience debilitating back pain or have sports injuries. I also understand what it’s like when the body goes through mid-life changes and the impact of those changes.

What has helped me overcome back pain, sports injuries, stiffness and tension is movement and applying an integrated approach towards wellbeing.

This is why I founded Wellness Pilates. A bespoke Pilates practice providing an integrated personalised movement coaching and programmes tailored to YOUR individual needs. Programmes that can help you feel good in your body again, understand your body better, build strength and resilience and help you move everyday with ease and confidence.

Work with me

What I am about & how I work.

1. Bespoke integrated approach

Providing personalised movement coaching and programmes that suit YOUR individual needs. Listening, assessing and engaging in a two-way conversation.

2. Circle of well-being

Working with other recommended health practitioners – physiotherapists, osteopaths and nutritional therapists on your programme. Collaborating to help you achieve your health objectives by applying an integrated approach in order to help you enhance your well-being.

3. Incremental, positive and meaningful change

Helping you to integrate movement into your daily life and build consistency without adding stress or feeling overwhelmed. It is about adopting a long-term approach and enjoying the journey rather than the short-term benefits of a quick-fix.

4. The Joy of the collective

Bringing people together and building a community around well-being, conscious living and sustainability. Elevating not just the individual but the community and creating a positive impact and change.

A little bit about my story.

I fell in love with Pilates after it had been recommended to me by my physiotherapist over 10 years ago. At that time I was struggling with a debilitating, acute recurring lower-back pain and after practising Pilates for a very short time realised the transformative impact it had on my mobility and lifestyle and well-being.

I was compelled to go on to enhance my knowledge of Pilates through further study. I embarked on a teacher training course with Body Control Pilates – Europe’s largest professional Pilates organisation and a benchmark for Pilates education. I gained my Matwork Level 3 certification in 2013 and was proud to become one of the first of the teacher group to be trained by Body Control Pilates in the Middle East.

In addition, I have Body Control Pilates reformer certification and regularly attend courses and workshops to extend my practical knowledge. I am a founding member of the Body Control Pilates Academy and a member of the Society For The Pilates Method (SPM).I love movement – it helps us connect our minds to our bodies and is the essential medicine we need to help us lead a healthy life.
